If you are using Gmail, you can connect your existing email account with it and use Gmail to send emails from that account. In other words, you will use Gmail to write an email and then you will be able to choose a different identiy (your other email account) before sending it. The recipeient will receive a message from your other account. Follow these steps:

Log in to your Gmail account.

Click the cog icon on the right.

Click Settings.

Click the Accounts and Import tab.

Click Add another email address.

In the dialog enter your other email address and click Next Step.

Enter the parameters of your other account:

SMTP Server - specify your Outgoing server.

Port - enter the portt (for example 587).

Username: enter your username, i.e. email address

Password - enter the password for your email account

Choose the type of connection - TLS or SLS.
Click Add Account. At this point, Gmail will try to connect with your account and if successful, send a verification code which you will use in the next step.
Enter the verification code and click Verify.
From this poitn on you will be able to send email messages using your other account as well.
