After you log in to your FastPanel, open the Site Card of a website you wish to work on. Now find an option named Filer:
On this page you will be able to see all the files of your website (if you uploaded them beforehand, in this example we have a WordPress installation):
If you select a directory, on the upper right you will see the following options:
- Open - Open the contents of that directory
- Copy path - Copy the path to that directory
- Move - Move that directory somewhere else
- Copy - Copy that directory
- Change permissions - Change permissions on that directory
- Rename - Rename that directory
- Pack into archive - Archive that directory
- Delete - Delete that directory
If you select a file, the following options will appear:
- Download - Download that file
- Copy path - Copy the path to that file
- Edit - View and edit that file
- Move - Move that file somewhere else
- Copy - Copy that file
- Change Permissions - Change permissions on that file
- Rename - Rename that file
- Pack into archive - Archive that file
- Delete - Delete that file
If you select multiple files and directories:
- Move - Move selected items somewhere else
- Copy - Copy selected items
- Pack into archive - Archive selected items
- Delete - Delete selected items
In the last picture, you can see three more options below already mentioned ones:
- An arrow pointing up - Upload
- File with a plus sign - Create a new file
- Direcory with a plus sign - Create a new directory
When you choose to edit a file, in the file editor you will have the following options:
- Save - Save any changes
- Search icon - Opens a search bar
- Undo - Undo changes you made
- Redo - Redo changes you made
- Drop-down list (utf-8) - The character set used in that file
- Dop-down list (PHP) - The type of that file/programing language used in it
- Window - Extend the file editor to the whole window
- Arrows pointing diagonally - Extend the file editor to the whole screen
