Setting up your email client

This article will explain how you can setup your emali client using Microsoft Outlook as an example. These same instructions apply to any other email client. In order to start setting your email client, choose Account Settings from the Tools menu.

The following window will be displayed.  

 

Click New within the Email tab. The following window will be displayed.  

 

Choose option Manually configure server settings and click Next, The following window will be displayed.

 

Choose Internet E-mail and clik Next. The following window will be displayed.

 

The following parameters are available:

  • User Information
    • Your name – enter your name
    • Email Address – enter your email address
  • Server Information
    • Account Type – choose POP
    • Incoming mail server – enter mail.vassajt.com
    • Outgoing mail server (SMTP) - enter mail.vassajt.com
  • Logon information
    • User name – enter your username as defined when creating the email account in Sentora
    • Password – enter your password as defined when creating the email account in Sentora

Click More Settings. The Internet E-mail Settings window will be displayed.

Choose the Ongoing Server tab and then select the following two options:

  • My Outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
  • Use same settings as my incoming mail server

After setting these, click the Advanced tab.

 

The only setting which is different than the default ones is Outgoing server (SMTP) which should be set to 587. Enter this value and click OK. The window with the e-mail settings will be displayed again.

 

Click Next.

 

Kliknite Finish.
